News & Events Options Barton partner with local McDonalds Store to develop social and life skills
Local Laceby McDonalds Store kindly partnered up with Options Barton and donated branded uniform, utensils, cups, straws, tray covers and packaging, so that the staff could mock up the McDonalds experience for the people we support.
Staff at Options Barton used their own food products and got into the spirit, helping the people we support to re-enact a situation as it would in the real store, whilst also helping them to develop important life and social skills.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and the smiles on everyone’s faces lasted for days!
Huge thanks to both the McDonalds store to help create this experience and to all the staff at Options Barton for creating this special treat for the people we support.
